Scarlet Williams is a cheerful, bubbly girl, amiable and lively. She believes in ghosts, and are no doubt afraid of them. But when she meets Tate Langston, a homicidal spirit with a twisted side, she begins to question her own sanity. Tate influences the way she looks at the world, and slowly, she begins to pull herself away.
Being so far apart from the world frightens her, and communicating with the spirits of the house scares her. Will she be able to keep her sanity and be with Tate? Or will she give one up for the other?
