Clay has autism and finds comfort in simple things, the illuminated a fireplace on a winter's night, fish swimming and stuffed animals. However, this was all soon to change after a tragic accident. Clay finds himself alone, seeing his happiness slip away from one simple mistake. George doesn't have an easy home life, after noticing signs of possibly a muscle disease, his only wish is to get help for it, however his parents deny every word that is brought up about it. Yet, it gets worse by the day as George quickly looses any hope left. When Clay is left traumatised by his past, he thinks nothing will bring back the same happiness he once felt, but when George moves into the farm he often visits, that same joy that was extinguished with the fire, sparks again... He also needs that money to pay for the treatment of his sick mother who had a stroke in the past, resulting in full bed rest at the hospital. Dream/Clay is the son of a rich businessman. He goes to the same university as George. He has no friends except Nick (Sapnap) because people think of him as just a spoiled rich boy. Most of the girls at the university do everything to get his attention but fail every time. This is because Clay is gay but that is a secret only Nick knows.
