"Why did you come here? You weren't invited." I state in distain as I gaze upon the unwelcome guest. The man looks at me with an almost sinister smirk, "Your mother invited us." My eyes widen as I glance up to my mother, she meets my gaze and has a look of relief as she spies the men before me. Noticing this exchange, the blonde continues, "I see she may have kept that a secret. I can't fathom why, it certainly wouldn't have to do with my brother, would it?" His mocking tone angers me as I scoff at him, "Keep your voice down. Maybe if your brother listened to me and kept his distance, I wouldn't have to be here, flaunting my arranged engagement with-" "So it's official then?" I turn on my heel at the voice behind me, though, I keep my face stern and raise a brow at him, "You knew I was betrothed." I deadpan. He doesn't reply, making me continue, "I'm sorry if you had a different idea, but some of us can't betray our families every time a new play thing walks in." I can clearly tell the brunette is seething as I walk off, mostly so I'm not caught in the crossfire. I had to be mean and rude to him, my father had threatened them enough times, I needed to just distance myself. 3rd person POV Klaus smirks wickedly as the woman walks away. Though, he is surprised his little brother doesn't follow her, "What's wrong Kol? I thought you liked pretty little things with sharp tongues."

The Quarter is quiet. Marcellus controls the vampires. The wolves live like outcasts in the Bayou. The Witches have a rocky peace with the vampires. The Mikaelsons raise Hope in their family home. All is peaceful, quiet despite the minor disputes. However the newest Scottish visitors have a long history that they plan on bringing to town. --- "They don't like the idea of new vampires in New Orleans." He reports shamefully, holding his head downwards. The butler seemed as though fearing for his life. I hold the lavender ball gown up to my chest, looking at myself in the floor length mirror. "On the contrary, dear Joseph," I pause, listening as my sweet Scottish accented voice floats around the room in tranquility. I turn to him, my ice eyes resting on him. "We are very, very old vampires." I drop the dress, and the butler looks up in fear. My movements are as fast as a striking snake, tearing out his throat in such a swift movement there's barely any mess. I look into his eyes as he raises his hands to his neck, falling to the ground in a light thump. I walk back and pick up the lavender dress, admiring my smiling reflection in the mirror as the tragically human butler bleeds out onto the expensive Russian rug. --- Some plot lines and moments of the Originals has been altered for this story. Camille is human (alive). Marcel is not a super vamp. However, Hope is seven years old. I only own the events and Characters I design, the rest all belong to the CW and the wonderful writers. Edit:: The Title has been changed from Casket Crowns to Her Majesty The reasoning is that the characters designed in this story are being used in a series of novels that will NOT be fan fictions. If you're interested in Merida and her brothers furthermore, stay tuned for the actual Fiction/Fantasy book I'll publish on my profile. August 10, 2020 UPDATE: This story is old, I started it several years ago and therefore has many flaws. Read at your own risk.
