Adelaide Evans was the childhood best friend of Sherlock Holmes. They were practically inseparable until he left for London to become a detective and she was sent to finishing school. During their time apart, Sherlock became a world renowned detective while Adelaide started working as a receptionist for an office of detectives. They remained separate until they realized the person in the neighboring apartment for the past year was their closest friend.
