The only thing that is holding him back is his toxic steplayers who adopted him after his parents fell ill. Then one day, a messanger comes into town saying that Prince Scar will be holding a building competion to find a new right-hand builder. Grian see's this as his once-in-a-lifetime oppertunity to prove himself to all of the kingdom.
