A close encounter with death kept Genji Shimada up at night; the feelings of betrayal and anger made him long for the day he'd be met face-to-face with his brother again. He had never felt the need for friends, and his only wish was to rid the world of those who seek to end it.
Carson "Phoenix" Jedson, Overwatch's newest recruit, would soon change everything. He would create a small spark that would ignite the fire inside of Genji, burning brighter with the fuel of revenge. Having found a friend and someone who he now wished only to protect, Genji would be forced to feed the flames until they burned stronger than ever before; stronger than even a Phoenix.
Through a bond of friendship and a new spark of love, together they would try to purge those who betray, and those who do no-good, in the hopes of a better tomorrow.

Genji x Reader
"Let me offer you some advice," By now he was inches away from me, venom dripping from every word he spoke. I tilted my head up to look at him, seeing his eyes closely for the first time. They were sienna, broken crimson throughout his iris due to the cyberization aspects leaking into his veins. Pressing his chest firmly against mine, I felt a newfound fear knowing he could kill me right now if he so pleased. "If a file is tucked away without your doing," My heart dropped lower than it already sat, balling my hands into fists and squeezing my eyes shut. I was an idiot to think he hadn't seen the papers spread across my desk. Grabbing my jaw tightly, he turned it to look him square in the eyes. Genji's face lowered near my ear and whispered, "It is not meant for your eyes." 100 Reads - 7/31/23 500 Reads - 8/24/23 1K Reads - 9/13/23 5K Reads - 2/19/24 10k Reads- 7/27/24 #1 in Overwatch 7/22/24 #1 in GenjiShimada 11/25/23 #1 in GenjixReader 11/25/23 #1 in Shimada 11/25/23 #1 in Genji 2/24/24 #1 in Blackwatch 2/15/24 #3 in She 2/24/24 Started: July 7, 2023 Finished: February 10, 2024 Editing: IN PROCESSComplete

On her 26th birthday, she ran, ran away from home, ran away from her father, ran away from her troubles. She left with only her deceased mother's necklace and bracelet, a bracelet that had unimaginable power, a bracelet that soon attracted Overwatch, a team of fighters dedicated to keeping the world safe. They found her injured and sobbing, and took her in, training her to rise up to her true potential. Overwatch became her family, and some could even become more than family. But something dark is coming just around the corner, and her troubles have caught up to her. The darkness is a lot closer than she thinks, and may know her even better than she knows herself. Null Protocol || Ramattra x Reader
(Y/n) takes a trip to the Shambali Monastery to learn how to fix her omnic friend, but in doing so, she gets the attention of the leader of Null Sector--who believes she's there to cause harm to his people. And with the knowledge she gains from Zenyatta during her stay, she could do worse than just that to his entire race. | - Ramattra x Female Reader - Slow-ish burn cuz you can't change his view on humans overnight🫶(but I'll give y'all some crumbs throughout to enjoy🤭) - Hint: actions speak louder than words (aka pay more attention to what he does than says) - If you don't know the lore (about OW/Ramattra/omnics...) that's alright. I treat y'all like you've never heard any of this so your knowledgeability or lack thereof won't detract from the story - I also include images of all the pre-existing characters so you know who they are - I did research to adhere to canon but I might deviate from it or get things wrong (apologies) - All of the character's in-game abilities are assumed to be canon so they'll be included - It starts a bit slow in Act 1 cuz you can't do much other than talk, but it'll pick up (especially in 2 & 3)Complete
The only one I can trust... (Ramattra X female!reader) Overwatch
(Note: This story may contain mature content such as mentions of sexual topics, emotional trauma, manipulation, etc. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!} ---------------------- War. It's always happening, only taking long pauses. You're a top agent for Overwatch. It's not the highest of highs, but it's definantly not low. One day, you were commanded by your higher up to stop an attack from Null Sector happening in Kings Row. Of course, you accepted. Arriving there, you notice that there's barely even a fight happening, only a couple of casualties, but none dead. You investigate, eventually finding a wounded omnic getting harassed and assaulted by several humans. But the omnic in question was a surprise. ...A ravenger? ------------------------------------------- Here you are. Now on the ground in pain, cowering at the one person you love. Everything sucks. But he was the only one that understood you. You groan at the pain, looking up at his metallic body. He flexes his arm back, threatening to throw one more punch to finish you off. "I... I..." ------------------------ I do not own anything in this story, other than the story itself. You belong to you. Cover by https://twitter.com/Jam_Star135/status/1628098229060669440
Demoted || Genyatta
Genji has worked for Blackwatch ever since he was murdered by his own brother, being one of their highest ranking officers. However, after Genji makes a drastic mistake in an important mission, Commander Reyes decides it's best to demote him - all the way back to Novice. While struggling to deal with his anger, feeling betrayed and useless, Genji gets assigned a new mission to show he can, in fact, follow Reyes' orders: he is to welcome a Rookie to Blackwatch and watch over him for his first days. Regardless of Genji's rudeness, the Rookie is determined to be kind to the cyborg. He even seems to worry for Genji's wellbeing; it is something Genji isn't used to, and his feelings about it contradict everything he thought he knew about himself. He doesn't know when it happens, but the programmed omnic Rookie suddenly turns into the one person Genji can't live without.Complete
