This is a story about unfortunate children with unfortunate problems, a special teacher to help them through it, and a clueless bystander who learns to shed her ignorance and see through the veil of pain that many of these kids dawn every day. ------------------------------------------------ This is a project I'm working on for my English class in school. It's called the 20time project. My teacher, an amazing woman, was inspired to do this project after learning about it after attending a sort of convention called Google Summit I believe. Basically, we are dedicating 20% of our time (not including after school hours) to work on a project of our choosing to somehow better the society in which we live. I chose to write a book. Kaitou KID, (a.k.a. Kuroba Kaito), has found it really hard to concentrate on heists since his little tantei-kun, (Edogawa Conan a.k.a. kudo shinichi), has been prone to get injured in some way after every heist. Starting to worry if it's because of lack of sleep or something, KID starts observing the eight year old almost every day till one day, Conan goes 'home' and here steps in kudo shinichi to the stage. The characters don't belong to me, I'm just a kaishin fangirl contributing to this community. PICTURES DON'T BELONG TO ME either UNLESS I SAY SO and the only thing that DOES belong to me is the story plot. The story can be suggestive but no smut. Everyone, during some point in their life, experiences emotions, situations and adversities that changes them, sometimes for the better, and sometimes, for the worse. And then there are times when we seem to leave our body mentally, to introspect about the world, its workings, and the people living in it. Everyone has that time in their lives where they wonder about how minds work, how relationships thrive, and what makes them, them. Sometimes, it's at night when you're going to bed, and life seems just a little different when there isn't any light illuminating it. Maybe it's in the shower, where tears mix with the water, and go unnoticed. Maybe it's early in the morning, just before dawn, when the idea of starting afresh doesn't seem quite so daunting. But remember. You're you because of your past. And you're no less than anybody else. Join me as I put words to my innermost feelings, as I voice my opinions. Join me as I gather the courage to write down thoughts that run through every person's mind at least once in their lives. Join me as I break conventions, as I rant and rave my way through these emotions, challenges, difficulties, opinions, that have the power to make me, or break me. *Completed* "KID, I am so done with your games. SO done. What is going on with you recently?! You've never been this... this unfocused. This desperate." Shinichi glared at the white clad thief, trying to find some sort of emotion in that stupid pokerface of his. And yet, all he did was smile, taking a step towards the detective. "All I can say is... my time seems to be running out. I don't know what it means... I don't know what will happen. I guess..." He paused, lingering for a moment to collect his words. Even the warmth of this beautiful summer night was not going to ease any of them. "...I guess we'll just have to find out." *** While KID seems to have quite the trouble finding Pandora, something else falls just into his lap. Touching this gem with his bare hands might not have been his best idea... The moment he woke up the next day, he could see a timer engraved into his skin, magically counting down second per second. Did KID have the slightest clue what the timer was for? No. Did he panic? Of course he did. Especially the longer the timer was running, the more secrets he seemed to uncover about the second magical gem he had ever known about.Concluida
