Avery Chan is Isle High's Top Good girl. With a straight A+ record, no absent day from school, top participation in clubs and activities, she's the teachers favorite. However, Avery is secluded and private and she begins her senior year with zero friends. So when Avery goes missing, it seems as though no one can help.

Adonis King, the loud and outgoing Student President catches Avery watching the sunrise. Piqued, he all but forces her to indulge in a conversation with him, one that sticks to his brain like gum and motivates him to find her when she goes missing the next day.

As the search goes on, he finds that not only did Avery know everything, she knew everyone.
