Chemically Yours, A TMF AU

This story takes place in the early 2000s, a doctor and a scientist happen to meet on one faithful night in 2004 New York City. As they get to know each other and really bond, they notice a strange phenomenon take place in the area. So many people have been dying lately with no proper reason, and no proper evidence.

The scientist and doctor, also known as Alexander (Zander) Wickham and Luke Peterson take on the job of finding out what's going on. Even though they've formed a strong bond, there are still some secrets they cannot tell the other about just yet. A strange world with strange people and obscure abilities, multiple lives? Seeing the future and the past? How would that help them solve this weird case?

New enemies, new motives, new deaths just keep piling up, but who is really going to solve them?

(PS: Please don't expect quick uploads!! Writing each chapter takes a very long time so this book will unfortunately update slowly. I'll still try my best to upload chapters as soon as possible but it is not a promise.)

Before the fall of Earth humanity built a great colony ship, ten thousand of the colonist left Earth for a hundred year journey to Gillespie. They came from all over the Earth leaving a planet knowing they would never see another in their lifetime. The Ark is a rotating cylinder the size of a large island with its own train system. It's divided into three main sections, the city, the framlands, and the Lowers. The people are divided into three groups as well, Uppers, Middles and Lowers. Uppers are made of elite scientist, Astro-crops, bureaucrats they made up about 3% of the population. The Middles are are the farmers, the guard, teachers, doctors, the food processors, clothes makers and of course the mechanical maintenance workers. They make-up the 97% of the 10,000 counted citizens. The lowers are criminals and children born to un-paired parents. They live separated from the middles and Upper. In lowers you work in water reclamation or in one of the fish farms that supply protein to the ship. In the year 2149 Dylan De Rovia is trying to wrap her head around the idea that in two year's she'll be paired. That they call marriage on the Ark. Pairing is good most who are paired do end-up staying together because while genetics play good part in determining a match so does personality. Some people choose to use spend this time having a good time with as many partners as possible. Dylan however, vowed that she would never fall in love with anyone before pairing. The universe had other plans however, when Dylan learns that she'll pair with an Upper named Kyive Sinclar life gets more complicated than ever. Falling in love is hard enough falling in love in space that the story.

The past, something that can illuminate over you like a shadow in the dawn of daylight. That's something Alexzander Wickham knew all too well for most of his life. When a painful day of his past comes back to haunt him, Zander's mind slowly begins to trace back to the awful memories of that day like it was just yesterday. Will he be able to get through the day on his own, or will his past pain consume him back into the lonely pit of sorrow he once knew. This is a TMF story idea I came up with after watching Rosy's version of the So Sad Meme that gave a bit of insight of Zander's backstory. I thought it would be cool to make a fanfic that reflected on his past since its interested me a lot since Rosy posted this video giving a bit of indication of how Zander's parents may have separated (not gonna say how cause I don't wanna spoil anything 😅). Everything on Zander's backstory in this story are all just head canons I've come up with for it based on the meme and my own ideas so please bare that in mind when reading.
