Okay basically I read the original story and I think it could have been written better. The original creator is @breshea_carter and this is the description "A Triggering / sensitive subjects: assault, rape, and self-harm, etc etch,

Sakura Haruno, the head doctor in Konoha's hospital, she's the woman in charge.
Sasuke Uchiha, Top detective next to his bestfriend Naruto Uzumaki, and his boss Kakashi Hatake and school friend Kira Satoshi
When there are women going missing mysteriously in Konoha, Sasuke, and his team are put on the case, they are to find the person responsible for the disappearances of these women.
When Sasuke follows up a lead at the hospital and comes in contact with Sakura a spark will ignite between the two.
What happens when the person responsible finds out that sasuke uchiha the detective closely closing in on his case is seeing the beautiful Sakura and begins to send threats to her and is now after the pretty pinkette?
What happens when a loyal comrade is against them the whole time?

They couldn't catch up to Karin? They couldn't save her? He knew there was something they weren't telling him. "What the fuck.... you told me she was safe in this damn village!" Sasuke yelled.
