A young river spirit has been trapped, forced to cry out her tears for a river in the village nearby, and to accomplish this, the village uses horrible ways... Bryce is a young man in this village, the "pride" and "joy" of his family. He knows that what they really want is his nobility title and his money. Bryce feels a connection to the river, he understands it, as if they are speaking the same language.
