Set in a fictional Japanese district, this narrative unfolds over a single, slow-burning collapse. An unidentified outbreak spreads across residential zones and educational centres, infecting infrastructure just as deeply as it consumes people. The resulting breakdown is not loud or explosive. It is methodical. People disappear. Radios go dead. Neighbours become unpredictable. Families stop answering their doors.

At the heart of it all are students-young, normal, and entirely unprepared. What began as an ordinary school break turns into a citywide lockdown with no instructions, no broadcasts, and no exit. Each of them returns home thinking it's temporary. It isn't.
