Peter Henlein, the inventor of the clock, gathers various historical figures from many different points in time and transforms them into a team of superhumans. What initially seems like a fun, lighthearted adventure gradually takes a downward spiral into one of the most dangerous time-travel missions of all time.

This is a rewrite of the 2022 novella History Crusaders. The plot and outline will pretty much stay exactly the same as the original, but the dialogue and writing will be much better.

The act of teaming up with Wade had inspired him to feel what it is like to be a real hero again. Still, it didn't heal all of his scars, and living out the rest of his life with Wade wasn't going to be an option for much longer. He just needed that missing piece, something to feel whole again. Turns out Estelle was the last piece of the puzzle. Estelle has been living on the run. The TVA have been trying to track her down ever since she escaped their custody. She couldn't remember why due to a case of amnesia, but the main memory she held onto were guards relentlessly chasing her after a severe bus crash she managed to survive. An egotistical supervillain, thrown back in time by her sidekick, must work with her past self--and her ex-girlfriend-turned-superhero, in order to find her way home. ☆ Rory Lennox, also known as the supervillain Ridge, always gets what she wants. At least until her loyal sidekick goes rogue, throwing her back to her university years using the time machine she invented. When her path crosses with her past self, she finds past-Rory is willing to believe time travel exists, but not that she would ever become a villain. To make matters worse, Accha Coderia, Rory's superhero-rival and ex-girlfriend, is trapped in the past too. As the two are forced to work together to fix the machine, unresolved tensions rise between them, daring to re-ignite a flame they have both been trying to ignore. In order to get home, Rory must ensure the past plays out exactly as it happened the first time, which means reliving the events leading to her descent into villainy.
