~ a Hunger Games fanfiction ~

In Mockingjay, the victors decided to hold one last Hunger Games using only Capitol children. When President Coin was murdered, the Games were announced as cancelled. But what if they weren't?

Bryony Price is one of the twenty-four unlucky children chosen to fight to the death. Just as things couldn't get any worse, her best friend, the President's granddaughter herself, is also chosen. Inside the arena that will push their friendship to the limits, who will become the victor of the Capitol Games?

I do not own Katniss, President Paylor, Celestia Snow or any of the other characters I've used from the original Hunger Games books or movies. They belong to Suzanne Collins, as are the Capitol and the arena. Bryony, Joe and everyone else are entirely mine.

Thankyou to the amazing @redblacklady for the fab cover!

❝Welcome to hell! Tell me, how does it feel to be Snow's new puppets?❞ ➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳ A Victor's child is probably the most prestigious title anyone could have in the Capitol's opinion. Maybe even for the Districts. But the reality wasn't as great as they made it look. Dove Ogilvy, the youngest out of the three adoptive children of Librae Ogilvy, came to realise this at a very young age. The Hunger Games, the tributes, the deaths, even the Victors were all part of a massive show for the Capitol. No one could escape it. And for Victor's children, the reaping was just a formality. None had achieved to escape fate. Everyone knew they would get reaped eventually. And in District Four's case, they were thrilled for that to happen to the Ogilvy family. Dove was determined to volunteer. Angelique Ogilvy, her older sister, had all the odds to be reaped for the 66th Hunger Games. But she wouldn't let that happen. Volunteering at the age of thirteen wouldn't be smart, but she couldn't let her sister die for someone's corrupted show. However, President Coriolanus Snow had other plans for her. She didn't know, but her games started way before the voice of Claudius Templesmith declared the countdown. Let hell begin, and may the odds be ever in your favour. ➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳ (Pre-Hunger Games-Mockingjay) I do not own the Hunger Games or any of the characters, except the Ogilvy kids and some side characters. DISCLAIMER ➳➳➳ This was my first fanfic, so the writing isn't exactly top-notch. A rewrite is already in motion and being slowly published separately from the original.

32 parts Complete Mature

[Rated mature due to violence, death, and blood.] This is a "what if" take on the ending of Mockingjay, written as a fanfiction, if something else had happened at the end. Please note that this is in no way officially connected to the original trilogy by Suzanne Collins. [Mockingjay spoilers ahead, read at your own risk] Summary: 13-year-old Clio Snow finds her life falling apart when her grandfather, President Coriolanus Snow, is killed by Katniss Everdeen after the rebellion of the districts against the Capitol. She is forced into an arena where each child must fight for their life as revenge for the years of suffering in the districts. The children are turned against one another, and Clio must choose between her life and the evil of taking another's, all while fighting to stay true to herself. Twenty-four tributes. One survivor. One final Games. "At some point, you have to stop running and turn around and face whoever wants you dead. The hard thing is finding the courage to do it."--Katniss Everdeen (Catching Fire, chapter 8)
