This is a short story just to provide a snippet for the main characters of my story, Hiraeth. Please let me know how you feel! 

Description of this story: 

In the kingdom of Lara, cities are split up based on which element a person harnesses the power for, and fraternizing with other cities are strictly forbidden. Blaze, the fiery and hotheaded warrior from Fire Nation has to struggle with watching Arah, a girl from Air Nation with whom he has a complicated history with, talk to another man. While his rule-loving 'best friend' Zale, who lives in Water Nation, accuses him of being overdramatic. Zale and Terra, from Earth Nation, try to figure out how to do some damage control for Blaze's behavior. It's time for the monthly mixed Nations duel where the Nations are brought together under the direction of the King to train together and announce the top Nation. During the most highly anticipated event of the kingdom, the widely feared Hydra attacks...will these four 'friends' be able to come together and fight back?

Once again, this story doesn't relate to the plot of the novel besides the fact that the characters and rules of the kingdom are the same. This is just for readers to get a feel of the characters they will be seeing a lot of.All Rights Reserved

Flow sooner realizes this is not a game and that she has to defeat a dragon in an icy dome with whispering songs and if she fails darkness will fall and almost every one will turn to dust.
