Aliayah is a hot tempered werewolf who will do anything for her family including declare war on the vampires. When her brother comes up missing and all they can find is his blood and the blood of a vampire they assume the worst. Aliyanah and a few close pack members set off for revenge against Blaze Daciano's clan of vampires. What will happen when she finds out that her brother is alive with a mate and he is even living under Daciano's roof?
Blaze Daciano is a vampire who has been searching for his soul mate for centuries. He is getting tired of searching though and is thinking of giving up on everything when he gets a summons to his compounds wall by a spitfire of a werewolf. He can sense immediately that she is his mate and sets out to prove that his people are not monsters.
Will she give into nature and fallow her heart or will she let old legends and horror stories get in the way of true happiness? What about those damned outside forces such as jealous exes? How will they handle this and will she ever be able to trust him much less love him?

Her wolf has to completely go dormant, because it's just causing her pain and she would died of she didn't. Alex thinks that she's dead, because he felt the connection between them break. He finds another girl to be his mate, and when Ashleigh is found, she is heartbroken. Not only was it her pack that made her suffer through all that because they sold her, but her mate had given up on her because her wolf had to go into dormancy. She falls into severe depression, and develops a form of PTSD, that was formed from the shock she had from her pack and mate's betrayal. She isn't happy anymore, and that brightness she had in her personality is gone, leaving a husk of her former self. Will her pack and mate right their terrible wrongs, and bring her back to her former glory, or will they carry on with how they are, and have her fall into a comatose like state?
