17-year-old Kara was an ordinary girl who was constantly picked on at school. As a geek, she was the center of torture town. She was helpless during these brief moments of living hell, until, well, he came along.
Of the three years that Chase Martin has been at this school, Kara was the first girl to catch his eye. Well, first girl that turned out to be a good choice.
When fate finally threw them together, it could not have picked a more gruesome moment. The school jock, also the biggest jerk of the high school world, had chosen that time to be extremely horrible to Kara. She had had a terrible day, with so many hurtful comments, and she just wanted to get home and read a book. To escape into her fantasy world where she wasn't a bullied teenage schoolgirl, but a wizard, a princess, a hero. She was free.
But fate would not let her have that peace until she met him. Until she met Chase. And that meant it would have to do something atrocious-- have Zach, the bully that torment's Kara's dreams-- physically beat her up.
The Stag is the first installation of a fantasy trilogy describing the life of Kara Hemlock and the journey she embarks on. How her life changes drastically... if not for the better.

In which a boy who thinks he controls everything meets the girl who actually does. --- Peter Pan is king of Neverland, a mystical island of his own creation. His Lost Boys serve as his troops and have been his only company for the last millennium. Until his shadow brought a girl to Neverland, by the name of Wendy Darling. But she's not the one this story's about. Why? It's simple. Because she's dead. She broke Peter's heart, so he killed her. Only he and the Lost Boys know what happened the night Wendy disappeared, and Peter means to take the secret to his grave, assuming he ever dies, of course. If the Lost Boys know what's good for them, they will too. None of the other creatures on the island have any idea of what became of the one girl who had ever set foot on Neverland. However, what at first seems to be a siren with a know-it-all attitude threatens to change all that. She knows exactly why Peter's heart is shattered. But there are many things that he is also wrong about. During the midst of it all, Shintaro gets captured, sending Kai down a path of despair and hopelessness. He feels responsible for getting Shintaro back, but he doesn't know what he's up against. Thankfully, his friends don't let him do it by himself. As always, they have his back. And soon, new friends are there behind him, too. The group finds that Moon is behind all of this, but she isn't doing it for herself.
