Lance is half Altean, half winged Altean wizard. Keith is half human, half Galra. Suddenly, they and three others are shot into space and become the Paladins of Voltron. Everything seems to be going okay until their alien sides begin to reveal themselves. Will they be able to keep their secrets from everyone, including each other? Or will their secrets be revealed?

Growing up in the Galra Empire, I have no clue about my past nor how I ended in such a life of pain and torture. But I always have a feeling that I'm meant to be a part of something more. And when I first meet a prisoner named Shiro and we both escape the Galra, I find myself more right than ever. Our Strange Differences
Lance is fed up. In all his years, he has only known life inside the Castle of Lions. As he described it, a prison cell disguised as an extravagant home for the royal. He longs to get away, but his newly crowned sister, Allura, won't have it. So, against her younger brother's wishes, she hires a bodyguard to keep him 'safe' inside the castle. But, the new guard turns out to be... odd. Not quite Altean, not quite Galran. Compared to Lance and the rest of the empire, one could say Keith has many strange differences. *** "So..." He had no reason to think otherwise. His father, a fireman who died when he was 8, was the only parent he had. He thought he was human even through the pull of the blue lion, the trip through space, and even when he joined a small group called "The Paladins of Voltron." However, when he met his first Altean, things started to unravel. Unwanted cravings for love and attention surfaced with no apparent cause.
