A young Kayla Davis has been scouted to record Taylor Swifts next album. A rising singer, songwriter, producer and apart of the global sensation band 'State of Mind', was specifically requested by the infamous singer. Feelings begin to develop and the two girls struggle to navigate them. Will an 8 year age gap, refusal to date and their professional relationship interfere or will they choose love? Disclaimer The timeline of this story does not follow Taylor Swift's actual life. I've also put her age down to 29 because I think it suits the story better. A lot of it will relate to Taylor's life but the timing of the events may be adjusted :) This is just a fictional story and not based on real life events ! P.S this is my first story ever! So constructive criticism is very much appreciated ❤️ Enjoy guys xox

Taylor Swift, 29, was once the darling of the critics-talented, award-winning, and respected. But after her ex-girlfriend, a powerful influencer, publicly broke up with her and accused her of being "incapable of love, arrogant, cold, and selfish," her career took a nosedive. No contracts, no red carpets, no brand endorsements-Taylor became persona non grata in Hollywood. On the other side, Y/n Moore, 24, was once hailed as an acting prodigy-successful in teen franchises and award-winning dramas. But early fame came at a price. The industry is ruthless to actresses who grow up outside the perfect mold, and now she's facing the dreaded "last chance" before being discarded. Both are cast as leads in an indie LGBTQIA+ film. The only requirement? They must fake a relationship off-screen to attract media attention and save the project. The problem? They can't stand each other. Taylor thinks Y/n is spoiled and fake. Y/n thinks Taylor is stuck-up and emotionally hollow. But the media eats it up: fans go wild, shippers spin theories, and paparazzi follow their every move. Between filming, promotional events, and carefully staged public moments, something unexpected starts to happen. The hostility begins to crack, revealing old wounds, insecurities, and a chemistry neither of them is ready to admit. And then comes the question no one can ignore-not the public, and certainly not them: what if the act is becoming real?
