ORIGINAL SYNOPSIS:
Mekkaku's dead but the threat is not yet over. A mysterious dark hedgehog breaks into a top-secret military base and releases a creature that was trapped in time and space. The two then attack Jason and his friends. Realizing the severity of this threat, the Rogues make it their mission to stop them. To turn the tide, the dark hedgehog injects Wave with some of his DNA, turning her against Jason and the others. Now, Jason must not only defeat this new threat but he must also find a way to save Wave. Sonic and his team must find and make creative ways to survive this turmoil, but also each other. Tense arguments go around their base as they have friends new and old joining them on this mission. Rivals, couples and more have to work out their problems to keep them and everyone else alive. For those who have never read Sonic (Archie) comics I suggest reading issues 193-195, will help to understand some points of this story. Due to the deadline to submit the fanfic, I had to make changes to the original ideas I had for the story. Flashbacks were shortened and were counted by the characters themselves. He told them to find someone who would help them to defeat Mephiles and everything will be restored. Before they could ask, the Master Emerald glows up and teleporting the entire world of Sonic to another world. A mysterious yet magical world where mirrored their world but differently. That's where they meet new allies with special abilities and other creatures as the search for the Chaos Emeralds again who was got spread away. Will they find the person they are looking for and stop Mephiles from destroying everything? (This story is based on Sonic Prime and Sonic X Shadow Generations).

Visited by a mysterious employer named Marek, the two search for the seven Chaos Emeralds, as requested. Now Jason must not only find a way to help Wave, but must also now stop Shadow. More mysteries arise and more questions are asked in the third installment in the action-packed Apocalypse series.

Just when things were looking good, they get a call from a military base about an escaped experiment that caused massive damage to the lab. They investigate the situation and realize that not "everything" was destroyed when Mekka's base exploded. Now it's up to Jason to defeat an opponent who has the power of lightning. This raises the question, "How do you defeat an opponent you can't touch?"

So um this story may be on hold as I have lost interest and have no idea how to continue the story... . (Disclaimer, there is NO smut/inappropriate things, just cute and wholesome~♡ but warning, there may be some dark themes throughout.) . . This story is basically a sonic the hedghog fanfic. It's set in a dystopian reality. im still figuring out everyone's stories even the main plot. But I just go along as my mind pleases. The main 'object' that stirs this story is a plant, named the agony night floret, that infects living things. It was created accidentally in a facility by money hungry mobian scientists and main boss, scarlett the fox. she is the main 'villian', surprsingly not eggman lol. the agony night floret infects mobians, putting them in these stages. first a purple blue rash, then disconfiguration then having the chance to rott and die or transforming into these cannibalistic 'flesh-gorgers', coming in different types. sonic and his friends travel firstly through the thick, white, winter forests, named 'Nobelwoods' in Nahada, trying to find the facility of where it all happened, while unexpectedly coming across a familiar haze of a huge mossy concrete structure of shadows old-old home. Burnt. It will be told why in the story. I have posted drawings of the characters/unfamiliar characters to understand better of what their appearances looks. (oh and also, no judgment but there is 'small' bits of sonadow, so if you dont like that, dont read.) thank you. . . . . Cover art drawn by myself :)
