Renji x Reader; Keeping Warm

You and Renji are stuck at a long and boring stakeout in a freezing cold room. When you ask him to keep you warm, things might end up a little hotter than you had expected.

His arms wrapped tighter around you and you leaned your back against his chest, sighing again, this time in content as the heat from his body seeped into yours. Though you were approximately equal in spiritual strength, physically he was so much bigger and stronger than you, and right now that felt oddly reassuring. You snuggled even closer to him.
'This feels so great. You're just so incredibly hot.'
As soon as your ears heard the words that had just left your mouth you groaned, and you both tensed.
'Hot as in warm.' Your cheeks were now as pink as his ears.
'So you don't think I'm hot in other ways then?' His mouth was right next to your ear, his breath hot against your cheek and neck. It felt surprisingly good. Too good.
