Camilla Diaz a 22 year old girl whose trying to keep up the business of an old failing bakery which had once belonged to her now deceased grandmother. She is an outgoing, bubbly and charismatic young person and whenever she was with others she was so full of life little do they know of what goes on behind the closed doors.

Juan Diaz a hard- hearted, cold, merciless man and the boss to the Spanish mafia he is none other than the sadistic grandfather of Camilla Diaz and while she was his blood her life wasn't hers. He was to dictate and decide everything she did whether she goes out or not what subjects she did at school where she was living and of course who she was going to be married to.

She's soon to be married to the infamous gangster Zane Volkov son of the Russian mafia boss Igor Volkov they were known for two things, their ruthlessness and their cruel, torturous murder methods victims of them have been known by the end pleading. No, begging to be killed but that was too much mercy for the Volkovs the sweet release of death.

At first Zane is cold and distant towards her. However slowly, as we get further into our book we slowly start to see the bond between them grow but Zane has had a difficult past, and the demons are something, he can't keep hidden from Camilla forever, and once that is revealed, how may it interfere with their relationship, and everything that they had together.
