Soleil and Aguya lead very different lives among the last Drahum tribe. Soleil is the happy-go-lucky resident chef destined to marry her soulmate. Aguya is the reclusive and independent hunter.
Their roles are flipped when sweet, charismatic Soleil goes missing after her wedding, and Aguya is left alone with the grieving tribe, her own pregnancy, and the encroaching human invasion of their idyllic island. 
Soleil is on the other side of the volcano that grants the island its name, weighted with her newfound gift of fire and the knowledge that she may be the last hope to save the realm from the devastating pollution.
The humans are not the only threat to their home - Aguya and Soleil have the chance to bring a new era to their tribe and peace at last on Cinderspire.
