It's the 1700's, he is the Keeper of secrets, she is a tradesman daughter in an arranged marriage to save the family business. He couldn't stand to see a man be disrespectful to a woman, especially on something as simple as flowers she wants. He had no choice but to step in and stop this arrangement. She is captivating and everything his heart in that moment knew he needed. He was told not to advance on her but he did anyway.

Two years later, he was about to propose to her on their anniversary but she never showed up at the meeting spots. He Finds out that she ahs been kidnapped and that an unknown man is behind everything happening to his love.

Her kidnapping starts a chain of events that force his hand. Will the Trap of Lies he constructed destroy everything she thought she knew about him? Will the love they have found withstand the lies discovered? Or will his lust for revenge corrupt what could have been?
