In the little town of Christmas Island, Shadow the Hedgehog has the strong urge to prove that he can make something of his life. He feels like he is mature enough to take on the title of a hero, but his parents, Mephiles the Hedgehog and Vanilla the Rabbit, do not seem to believe in him, and still see him as their baby. Tired of feeling underestimated by his parents, Shadow runs away from home to try to become something on his own. When he does this, he feels very free, and as if he doesn't need his family anymore. However, will Shadow be able to live a strong life as a hero without his family, or will his heart call him home? Find out in Mission Accomplished!
