Lan Zhan, desperate to regain control and teach Wei Ying a lesson, enlists the help of Lan Feng, a secret lover from his past, to incite jealousy and hurt. However, their plan backfires, leading to broken hearts and shattered trust.
As the war rages on, Wei Ying's compassion shines through when she saves Wen Qing and Wen Ning, two kind-hearted demons caught in the crossfire. Her actions demonstrate the depth of her character, while Lan Zhan grapples with his conflicting desires and a newfound possessiveness he never anticipated.
As the story unfolds, forgiveness, understanding, and the power of love become the driving forces for the characters.
