Tobi seems like most other characters leading normal fictional lives:
He kills monsters on the way to school, is an above average student in his variety of classes like War Theory and How To Survive 101, and is a student from the acclaimed Dragons' Nest dorm building, which is known mostly for boarding strong-willed individuals with a lack of magical abilities.
But the one thing that makes him different is a rather unhealthy obsession on reading books and watching anime about real life, known better as non-fiction works. He always knows what's up with his favorite reals and he knows how the real world works better than he knows how his own does.
However, when others start to notice the obsession, they forcefully distract him from it, taking all of his books with the promise that he'll have them back in a few days, hoping that he'll turn into a normal and functioning fictional character with the distance.
All he wants is for the story to finish so he can finally have his books back and continue living a life where no one will try to change his obsession with reality. Except, reaching The End is easier said than done.
(REMINDER: The chapters in this book are drafts and need revision on many of the later chapters. This means that there might be a sudden change in how the story is being told/a few confusing plot hole once you have reached the end of the edited chapters.)
