This story is based off the anime Japanese ver of the Yu-gi-oh series.  Jonouchi is 19 years old and graduated high school. He has started his career to become a professional duelist. Even after a few months  he wonders about what happened to Mai afer Dartz was defeated.  Mai also wants to meet up with Jonouchi to make amends. Mai has not because she did not think Jonouchi would forgive her. Both of them got an Invitation to the Aurum Islands Duel Touraments
