Serena Luis is the Master of the Siren Song and is a cursed woman. Having lived for a century and a half, she hasn't aged since she turned twenty-one. She is also one of Sensei Wu's old apprentices, being raised and mentored by him as a child.
Since then, she lived a semi-normal life, in harmony with her powers. Using them to entertain the people of Ninjago and inspire awe and joy in them...
However, her former teacher has returned and has requested her help...
To aid his newest apprenticeship and to find the Green and Purple Ninjas...
To help them with whatever looming threats coming towards their great city...
Along the way, she meets Sara, a meek young girl who had a troubled home life with an abusive mother. Serena decided to take the girl under her wing to keep her away from the monster back home.
Once on the Bounty, Serena and Sara meet the Ninja and Nya, Fire Ninja, Kai's, sister. Serena then encounters the young troublemaker son of Lord Garmadon, Lloyd Garmadon. All the while, the Serpertine, along with many other threats, are keeping them on their toes.
She has a lot of work cut out for her... especially when her past memories come back to haunt her... in more ways than one...
Needless to say, she isn't ready for the painful nostalgia of her agonizingly long life...
