Sierrafima had enough of the abuse she endured from the people who took her in. Pagod na siyang mabuhay sa isang lugar na puno ng sakit at pang-aabuso, kaya napagdesisyunan niyang umalis at mamuhay mag-isa, malayo sa lugar na minsang tinawag niyang tahanan.

Pero hindi niya inaasahang sa paglayo niya ay makikilala niya si Nyx-isang misteryosong itim na itim na hayop na iniligtas niya.

At mula sa araw na iyon...

Unti-unting nagbago ang takbo ng buhay niya.
