From Imperialist Absolute Monarchy to a Globalist Constitutional Monarchy, the Hatemean Kingdom didn't exactly have a good start when the monarchy was reinstated in 1989. First it was a civil war that saw the People's Republic falling apart, a disastrous war against Flashia and the states that formerly split off from them and a coup d'etat which saw the overthrow of the King and installation of his daughter, Rina as the Queen.

Their economy was in shambles, but with the Queen phasing out imperialistic practices, Hatemea was now recovering fast as it finally secured favorable position in the international community. The future was overall looking very bright, until something happened that would change the Kingdom forever.

After 2 major wars against two galactic superpowers, and the Garmillas refugee crisis of 2205, Japan, a part of the Earth Federation, now is seeing true peace. The rebuilding process is happening smoothly, with cooperation between citizens from all walks of life, between the Garmillian refugees and Terrans, and even the famous Shinkansen Maglev system is also rebuilt. However, one day, the people on the land of Japan woke up to a foreign sight. No known constellation, familiar stars, the moon, and neighboring landmass could be detected. Facing them is a planet of unknown, magic, and of possibility. Facing the crisis of transference, the people united once more, and again, the name Japan is re-recognized as a country. Her diplomatic corps is sent out on the rebuilt Japan Cosmo Navy ships, heading toward unknown lands, and contacting the nations of the new world. The politic of the new world however is a quagmire full of arrogance, hostility, and imperialism. "If diplomacy fails, then defend ourselves, we must" - proclaimed the newly appointed provisional PM of Japan, Heikuro Todo. The story of Nihonkoku Shoukan Beyond will follow Japan in the world of Space Battleship Yamato (2199/2202/2205) after their transference to the new world. This story is inspired by the original NHS and fanfics like Summoning America by DrDoritosMD. It will feature similar plots to the OG NHS and the fanfics by other creators I have the pleasure to read. With this as my first English fanfic novel, please don't be too harsh. As it is a pet project of mine, it may not get updated regularly, updated at weird hours, or be subjected to changes and fixes without notice. Edited by @RadjaDawamindra. The earlier chapters will be updated. Please don't repost my story.

5th of June 20XX, World Environment day. Ten years after the ceasefire has been declared, the secessionist National Environmental Republic celebrates it tenth anniversary along with the World Environment Day. Lieutenant Ace, a local environmentalist and a commanding officer of the National Environmental Gendarmerie, the military and police force of the country, is leading a ten vehicle convoy on a patrol mission outside the capital of the country, Atlas city. Things go smoothly at the beginning, however once they are outside the capital, a mysterious storm transports the entire convoy in a medieval like world where magic, knights, dragons, elves and goblins exist. With no way of returning to the modern world or contacting headquarters, the gendarmes decide to carry on with their mission, fight for the environment and protect the innocent. Armed with only non lethal ultrasound guns and a few anti-tank/anti-aircraft missiles and equipped with six electric pickup trucks, four homemade armored vehicles and two eco friendly patrol boats, the gendarmes carry out their mission while at the same time the will try to survive in this new world where everyone and everything could be your enemy the next day. Will they make it back to the modern world or will the remain stuck forever in the world of magic and dragons? This is a novel inspired loosely from the movies G.I. Samurai (1979), The Final Countdown (1980) and Samurai Commando 1549 (2006), the anime GATE and the manga Japan Summons. It is an original work and not a rip-off, parody, spin-off or fanfic of any similar existent stories. Any uploaded photo belongs to me and me only P.S. Munin has made a critical mistake. In his war against the Caerulean Republic, he backed his country into a corner and a bloody stalemate. Now, he only has two options left. Trade his life and the lives of dozens of his soldiers for the destruction of the Caerulean capital and the death of a million, or to save his own life and face defeat. Little does he know; his journey isn't over just yet. With little more than his own obsession with revenge, wits, his AI assistant and perhaps a nuclear capable fighter aircraft, Munin is (rather violently) forced into the next universe over, which is nothing like the orderly and logical universe where Munin came from. Will Munin, in his journey to find both himself and his sister, (and maybe revenge), also change this new reality's beliefs? Or will he make the same mistake, leading him back down the same path that got him here? IMPORTANT: I own absolutely nothing except the plot and most of the characters. Any similarities to any work of fiction, art, literature, real world people/events, etc. are purely coincidental. Pictures used belong to their owners. (Just... Please don't sue me) Nobody reads this anyway, but still, it's better to be safe than sorry.
