Where there is technology advanced enough to build anything. 
Where there are trains that can take you ten years forward in time. 
Where society is dying. 

Barry and Yohei get sent out on a mission to find out what lies in store for civilisation, and they find what they'd already expected: nothing. 
But once their mission ends and they begin to return to The Present, one does not return. 
And now, the other must embark on the same perilous journey to save him; whether he will succeed or survive is uncertain. 

After all, The Future is a desolate place.
