Gabrielle (Gabby) DeVault is a good girl...well, was a good girl is a more accurate description. The constant validation she sought from her parents caused her to eventually break. Pushed to the point of not caring about anything, or anyone, Gabby changed her life completely. She was no longer the good, perfect girl everyone wanted her to be. Instead, she started hanging out with the wrong crowd and getting into trouble. And the truth about it? She loved it.. But when Gabby's parents have finally had enough and ship her off to Maxwell Prep- a boarding school for the troubled- what will happen to her?

Zayden Walker isn't much different. He is a bad boy, though, unlike Gabby, he pretty much always has been. Tired of living up to his parent's insane standards of what a perfect son should be, Zayden began acting out much more than usual and trying to take back control of his life. Unfortunately for Zayden though, getting around with girls, drinking, drugs, not caring, and the wrong type of friends don't provide him with the freedom he hoped, but instead, earned him a one way trip to a certain boarding school for the year.

What will happen when Gabby and Zayden inevitably meet during their time at Maxwell? Though they might seem extremely similar, they also couldn't be more different. They do say opposites attract right? But, is that really true? Can two troubled teens struggling with tough battles of their own really handle being together? Especially since they seem to have hated each other from the very second they met. Who knows what senior year will be like at Maxwell. New friends, new surroundings, new problems, and most importantly, new feelings. But, the heart wants what the heart wants right...?
