When did I become this person? The girl who did everything for the player; for the guy she thought didn’t even matter to the world. I was doing everything right until he came along. I mattered to the world and now I matter to no one, not even myself. I’m ashamed. I’m so ashamed that he turned me into this stereotypical ‘good girl gone bad’. I gave up so much.
I take a step closer to the edge of the boardwalk and look down. I’m not that far up so the impact of the jump won’t kill me, but me staying under will. I never thought that I’d be the girl who would kill herself, even more for a guy, but as I try to breathe through my sobs I realize that I’m not doing this because of him, I’m doing this because of me. This whole thing is my fault. I changed and he never did.
“SUTTON!” I hear him yell from behind me. I slowly turn around and take that last look at him. I love him. After everything he has done to me I love him. “Sutton what are you doing?!” he begins to run faster, but he’s too late. By the time he reaches for me I let myself fall into oblivion, and I let the freezing water take me over.

I sit down on my bike looking around the school parking lot. Listening to music, I stand up begin to walk through the student-less parking lot. Honestly, it's not like I meant to be late.
