Prologue:

After losing her parents in a freak accident, Claire is moved to the academy to start her training. As she works hard to develop her powers, she not only forms a close-knit group of friends and learns to trust again, but also catches the attention of the resident bad-boy Nate Collins. 
No one knows the extent of his powers but his unearthly beauty, enough charm to cause a riot and off the charts powers made him reigning king of Raven Academy. He possesses a dangerous aura shrouded in mystery.
