For Nyx? It was neither.

Because, out of all the schools she had to transfer to for senior year, her dad, of course, had to pick the school he was studying at.

As soon as she met Keio again, she knew her senior years were gonna be hell.

For as long as they could, they avoided each other at all costs. Because things were not the same anymore. The times have changed, they weren't the same kids as they were before.

And most importantly, Nyx wasn't the same girl who fell stupidly for him. The girl that he left heartbroken and crying.

She learned it the hard way that you should never fall in love with your academic rival. Because with just one simple mistake, one simple word, everything can all go down the drain. The once-strong bond they share disappeared the moment she realized that Keio didn't want anything to do with her.

After that, no one dared to question it or even bring it up. They just remained silent and pretended that nothing had happened between them. They accepted that that was all there was to it.

But before they even realized it themselves, the once broken bond they had, slowly started to form again. With every training, every game, they will suddenly find themselves, sitting beside each other.
