A Vision of Happiness (Book 1)

Visioner was a normal three-year-old dragonet. He had an abusive father that kept him and his sister alive, hiding out in a safe cave as every day his father tortured them. It was a normal life, really. Protected by their father from the dangers of the world outside, the price of everlasting pain and torture was surely good?
But when Visioner and his sister is hurt far too much to live, and his strange visions show him that they'd die if they stayed in the safety of their cave, he has to make a difficult choice.
