~

Everyone knows who Delia Howard is. The news of what had happened to her and her older brother that night spread like a wildfire across the world, and even after almost five years , she still gets looks of pity from people around her.

She decides to get a job at a small, cozy cafe just down the street from her college in hopes it will help her move past her social anxiety, and give her back the anonymity that she craves, but when the cafe's owner, Mary, falls ill, she's forced to work alongside her eldest son, Archer Beck to keep the cafe alive.

Even with her lack of experience when it comes to men she knows the wannabe journalist is cocky and screams trouble, but she can't ignore how gorgeous he is. From his dark brown hair, always styled like he just rolled out of bed to his seafoam green eyes that captivate her in a way she never knew was possible.

It quickly becomes a challenge for her to concentrate on anything whenever he's around and in spite of his constant attempts to get to know her, Delia does her best to keep him at arm's length, afraid he will find out the truth behind her scars.

Until one fateful night changes everything between them and she finds herself slowly starting to trust the irritating Adonis.

As his interest grows, he begins to uncover the scars, both physical and emotional, that mark her body and soul. "If you turn your back to me again, you better be bending over, sweetheart." *** Everyone warns you about boys who go looking for troubles, who have bruised knuckles and split lips, whose eyes are so dark that it seems like they could swallow oceans and come out alive, about the boys who look like danger, but no one warns about boys who stay silent for way too long, or ones with rings under their eyes, boys with sad eyes and boys who whisper things so sweet, so quietly that you wonder if he was an angel. Everyone warns you about the bad boys, but no one seems to warn you about the broken ones. Bar Red was a broken boy who finally finds someone to help mend his scattered pieces. Everyone saw him as the untrustworthy, unstable beast who was more than willing to punch anyone's face in. Swear words and bad habits mixed with smirks and wicked grins are enough to ward anyone off. But, apparently for Clementine, that's exactly what pulls her in. She has no clue what she's getting into but she's about to find out. She wasn't innocent, not by far, but she had dignity, a warm aura, niceness, and stubbornness that could rival a mule. Mix that with Bar's possessiveness and overprotective behavior, some interesting situations will definitely arise. Adding in the fact that Clementine had to tutor Bar for the rest of the school year and his almost instinctual urge to be apart of her life, they are bound to get close. Bar swears, Clementine hates it. He fights, she glares while bandaging up his knuckles. She reads instead of eats and he refuses dinner until she joins him. He is rude and she ignores him until he apologizes. Both, easily, frustrate the other while simultaneously falling into love. Broken boys are the only ones that can fix themselves so will this broken boy manage to do so before he drives away the one girl who wiggled her way past every barrier? This is the story of a broken bad boy clashing with the sad good girl. * #1 in the Red series Stand alone

She's a wild, free spirit who sees the good in everyone, and he's the hardened, bad-tempered loner who wants nothing to do with her-yet no matter how hard he tries to push her away, she's the one temptation he can't escape. *** He's never met someone with such a bubbly personality. Not to mention the wildness and odd phrases she says every five minutes. He hates it. He hates how he can't stay away from it. He hates what she does to him; it's not like him to chase after some girl. She gets under his skin like no other. She's never met someone with such a bad attitude. He's ill-mannered and menacing. The glare never seems to leave his face. Considering it all, she can't help but feel the attraction toward him. Dangerous attraction toward a seemingly dangerous man. Maybe it's the tattoos on his arm that gets her attention. Or maybe it's because she can tell there's hope for good under his rough exterior. And she's about to find it, whether he likes it or not. It's no secret that the two of them are complete and total opposites. *** "You like being called Sugar, don't you?" I tease, placing my toothbrush back after finishing. He does the same and gives me a side-eyed scowl. He grips my chin harshly and kisses me. My body temperature raises a good ten degrees and my right leg goes all wiggly. He pulls away. "You like it when I kiss you, don't you?" He teases the same way I did to him and I'm left blubbering. "I think both of our questions are rhetorical," I lower my voice up at him. His lip curls up into a smirk. *** #1 in Young Adult #9 in Badboy #1 in Cold #3 in Goodgirl #1 in Sweetheart #14 in Love *** *Warning* This story contains mature themes (language, scenes)

She swears she hates him. He's convinced he hates her more. But when secrets, lies, and late-night whispers begin to blur the line between enemies and something they wouldn't even consider, neither of them is ready for what's coming. *** Aliana is loud, impulsive, and dangerously unpredictable. She lies when she's scared, smiles when she's breaking, and keeps everyone away with her endless sarcasm and sharp tongue. She doesn't need anyone. Especially not him. Ali is silent storms and cold stares. The boy with the bad reputation, a past no one talks about, and a temper that makes people flinch. He wants nothing to do with drama, especially when it wears red lipstick and calls him names. They can't stand each other. So why do they keep ending up alone in the same room? Why does every fight feel like foreplay? And why does hating him hurt more than it should? ~~~~~~ He kisses me, again and again, raw and consuming, and then pulls away; I can feel his green eyes piercing my soul. "What you told me last time, say it again," he whimpers breathlessly. "What?" I manage to ask, confused, and reel him in again for another kiss. He pulls back again, his breath hot against my skin. "That you hate me, tell me that you hate me." "I hate you," I tell him almost instantly, the lie burning on my tongue. He kisses me harder and more hungrily, and the words slip out again from my tongue: "I hate you. I hate you. I hate you." His murmurs deepen into groans, and at this exact moment, I ask myself how I'm still standing, still breathing, still present. ~~~~~~

I trembled when I felt his mouth near my ear. He was closer than I thought he was. "Do you feel that, Beatrix?" His voice was low, rough, and if I didn't know any better, I would think he was mad. I stayed very still, not trusting myself to keep from doing something stupid. Turning around and letting him see how badly I wanted him to kiss me would be very, very stupid. His lips grazed my ear, and then I felt his fingers slowly encircle my wrist. "That's me restraining myself." There was a bite in his voice now. "So don't tempt me, princess. You may not like the outcome." Then, just like that. He was gone. ~~~~~~~ When Beatrix meets Ezra for the first time, she doesn't exactly make the best first impression by accusing him. So when she is dared to kiss him, and she stupidly accepts, it sparks a flame for her that she cannot seem to control. ~~~~~~~ Ezra doesn't know what to make of the girl who first thinks he's the bad guy and then kisses him on a dare. Her beautiful sea-green eyes haunt him more than his nightmares, and letting her get away is not an option. Especially after he knows exactly what she tastes like, and when his heart decides it wants her. But when family truths and hidden insecurities surface, it's up to them to wade through it. They've both had their hearts broken before. Will they be able to give each other a chance?
