Lilly is a quiet and shy ballerina in the competitive state of New York. She is struggling to speak up for herself, and embrace her dancing. Even though she dances with the most successful and prestigious ballet company in the US, she doesn't believe that she belongs there. She will soon be more confused when the cast list for a certain duet comes out and she is rewarded a role she feels she doesn't deserve. Then, one day while visiting their local loved cafe, Lilly and her best friend, Marissa get waited on by Cameron. Lilly soon develops a crush that she will deny and keeps a secret.
