Videl couldn't help but envy the new superhero. After she got fed up with frustration by this 'Great Saiyaman', she angrily told him to leave her alone and hoped he would rot in the gutter. Afterward, Saiyaman never stepped into any of her fights again. That, until she really got into trouble and Saiyaman took the damage in order to protect her, only to disappear thereafter.
