Romance
Madelyn has always dreamed of having her prince charming, but he never arrived. Her parents aren't the best, and neither is the rest of her family, but she got used to it. Silas is struggling. He needs help, but he doesn't know where to find it. The busy streets of New York are packed day and night. No matter which corner you turn, you might bump into a stranger. Or not. This time, it was two strangers. Both need someone but are unaware of the other's situation. The two strangers in question? Madelyn Leany and Chance Korbyn. Two vaguely familiar strangers who aren't actually strangers, after all. Childhood best friends who don't have any memory of each other besides a Polaroid photograph of them together, labeled and sealed away. The search begins.

𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙣 𝙢𝙮 𝙨𝙤-𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙨... Daxon Whitlock wasn't the life of the party. He hated the idea of sweaty Homo sapiens and cheap beer over ear-splitting music. Until she walked in. Dax had never seen a more beautiful pair of eyes in his life than this pair on any person's face. It was true; the first thing he noticed were her eyes. They were big and brown, her eyelashes were long and her eyebrows were perfect and arched. To him, she was perfect. She may not have thought so, but he did. Tal Kanaan valued her own feelings more than a badger valued sticks and twigs. After multiple fumbles with her past boyfriends, she'd sworn to never lend her heart to easily to a man. Until she met Dax. He wasn't good at this love thing. He never was. The last thing he wanted was to fuck up and hurt this girl's feelings. As the two trip and fall into this never-ending spiral of love-in which they both try desperately to get out of-Tal finds herself getting tangled in her feelings about Dax. After the mixed signals and push-to-pulls from Tal, Dax finds himself praying and hoping he won't be the one left falling. --- Please don't judge I already have enough critics 😭
