Roselyn Oakes wasn't someone who was familiar with what home meant. Her traumatic childhood, her tragic arrival to the quiet, sensitive girl she was today was something she frequently thought about, making it impossible to move on. Making it impossible to live without remembering every excruciating detail of why she was the girl she was.
__
Everett Fuller wasn't someone who was familiar with what home meant. His horrible upbringing made him cruel and hard. Made him rude and cold. Made him sad and quiet. His mission, since what had happened, was to never get hurt the way he did again by anyone. To never be vulnerable again.
---
Roselyn Oakes and Everett Fuller were two fruits of the same seed. Two people who were destined to be together. Two people who were both hurt by their past, and destined to be loved together in their future. They were made to be the person that showed the other what it was to be loved again.
