The monkey trio are in Wukongs treasure room sorting his junk, when Mk finds an odd katana that catches his eye, Wukong , Macaque , and Mk are immediately transported to an unfamiliar place and Mk realizes that he is all alone.
Separated from his dads he joins Tanjiro in hopes that he find them before they get into trouble.
In the au Mk refers to SWK and Macaque as his dads (they aren't necessarily in a relationship tho... even tho i do ship it :0) also he is 12 and can transform into his monkey form :D
[ just so y'all know my grammar suck ass, and my controls are locked on Spanish so excuse any random autocorrect's :) ]

Under editing now everyone doesn't seem to understand that Mk was just a kid when he became the Monkie kid the stress, the hurt and the mental toll he must be suffering through. But What if he had someone he could talk to about these problems, someone to hug him, comfort him, and someone who raised him all on their own. This is the story of monkie kidssssss MOM! she the sweetest woman you ever met but piss her off and she will slam you deep into the earth core. she raised Mk on her own after finding Mk behind Pigsys noodle shop and has been protecting him for years. "Hey, bud, have you ever tried to shapeshift into your monkey form without the power behind it?" "Huh? Whatcha mean by that?" "I'm saying that you can probably shapeshift into your little monkey form and not have to fear destroying the mountain again!" Wukong bit into a peach with his characteristic cheeky smirk as he did. "You'll be able to get comfortable using it, so that in the future, if you ever need it, you'll have more control than ever before!" "I... never thought of that. I guess I can try it!" "Haha, yeah! I'm gonna have sooooo much fun teaching you stuff!" The Monkey King laughed, his tail gripped a branch as he let himself fall and hung upside down, as if showing what MK may be able to do someday. (HELLO! a lot of you know me from my CampCamp fanfic "Inmates" but guess what! Now I'm in a looot of different fandoms and I'm trying something New. Now of course this contains mature themes (y'all know me :3) buuut it'll also have some fluff ☺️ , angst, and just scenes I would imagine Wukong and Macaque would have.) (This is majority a Shadowpeach story, but other ones will be included) After the Lady Bone Demon was defeated there wasn't much to do for a while, so everyone was just chilling and being calm. Two Monkies, how ever, are trying to sort out their issues from the past. Every time they talk about it it gets heated, but maybe that's a good thing...

Unaware of their true nature and forms, you take care of them while journeying. You never expected them to grow attached to you, and honestly, neither did they. [ON HOLD] "You wouldn't get it, Kid. She was someone who went through a life line of pain just for a single purpose of protecting another." Sun Wukong sighed, letting his feet dangle off the edge of the ship, the wind was harshly blowing against him. Even when the ship was sitting still, the deserts wind was still harsh. Mk, sensing a new story to learn, sat down next to his mentor with excitement. Only when he saw the somber look did he realize the weight this story had on him. "Um... Who is she again?" Mk asked, rubbing the back of his neck, looking backwards to the rest of the crew. Sun Wukong grumbled words before shaking his head with a sigh. "Someone that I had accidentally mistreated." Mk turned back around as the rest of the crew got closer to listen in on Wukongs story. His tail was carefully tucked next to him as he rested his head in a palm. "She was just trying to do her job, but slowly her friends fell one by one. They were driven to insanity from the burden their job held. She was the strongest one, and she was the last to fall. She succumbed to her power, and it slowly ran through her. All I can say is that the last thing that remained of her was a pile of ash." Wukong slowly pulled a small looking urn.
