That night I was getting ready for bed with my cozy flannel pj bottoms, a tank top and a good book. I was just getting to a really good part in the book when I heard a something hit the wall just above my head. The music was unbelievably loud for 9:00 at night so I decided to walk over to his or her apartment and see if they could quit playing drums or at least be quieter about it. I pound on the door so I know they hear me. The drums stop and I think I hear guys voices behind the door. As I'm waiting for the door to open I realize that I for got to put my bra on. I cross my arms in front of me trying to look annoyed and not embarrassed, I was not leaving until they open the door. As Im about to give up I turn to leave when I feel an arm snake around my waist picking me up and then a hand go over my mouth they tell me to shush and I try to squirm free of his hold. He goes into the back room then finally sets me down. "Let me explain!"

"Why do you keep pretending you're afraid of me?" He hissed, obvious anger in his eyes. "Because Louis; if I'm not afraid of you I'll end up loving you!" I shouted. "And that means I'll get hurt...because that's just the way you are!" I said, hoping he would correct me. "You're right." He said simply after a long pause. "You're right." She was new; he was jaded. She was oblivious; he knew all too well. She was innocent; he was everything but. And anyone who looked at the two would know just how wrong they were together. Yet there was no denying the obvious fire that seemed to heat every time they were near each other. This isn't the typical "boy loves girl- they fall in love" etc. etc. This is about heart wrenching confessions, breath taking encounters, love shattering secrets, and two people who so desperately want to know just what love is.
