Senior year. The last firsts, the last lasts, the last time pretending we know what we're doing. Four seniors. One year. College applications, heartbreak, late-night drives, panic attacks in bathroom stalls, dreams that feel too far, and friendships that might not survive May. I was a fighter but nothing could have prepared me for death even though I knew it was going to happen sooner than later but it's fun to wish right??....... Dear Diary as we part ways please remember all our fun times.

One day I woke up, looked around me and realised I was never alive to begin with.

The war was almost over, it was evident all around me. I was being treated like royalty, yet I felt more alone then ever. I knew now that I was going to survive this war, but I didn't want to. Why would I want to live when I was the last one left? It didn't matter that the war was over, because forever I am tainted by its traumas.

I am fifteen. My hair is blonde and my eyes are crystal grey. Hahaha thought I was gonna say blue, huh? My life was pretty normal. I walk to school everyday, walk home afterwards. Simple really. Honestly? Very very boring. Until one day. It happened. An event that would change my world, my entire life. Here's my story.

"Everyone hopes for that perfect life, but me I just want to be happy. Maybe this new school will help. I don't know anymore. Everything was okay until it happened. Now I'm moving away and trying to find ways to cope. I remember her smile. I remember everything she did for me even though we didn't have a lot of money.
