Lana eventually left California crushing Jax. She was the last person he never thought would leave him like that. She left without telling anyone. [COMPLETED] Jax Teller (a.k.a. Jackson Winston) is a man on the run. After ditching the club to avoid meeting Mr Mayhem he settles in Georgeville - a place where no one knows who he is or anything about his dark past. Valerie Brooks is a college grad who is taking a journey of self-discovery and trying to find her muse. She takes up a job as a librarian's assistant and seeks a story in her spare time. Val finds what she was looking for when she discovers who Jax really is. Val forces Jax to confront his inner demons while he makes her own up to hers. But the past will catch up with them both and soon enough they have to face it. Cover made by @TimothyLagden **DISCLAIMER** I do not own any of the Sons of Anarchy related characters in this story.
