This is America; land of the free, home of the brave. In four major cities around the country, a criminal organization flourished in its dealings. The Four Aces, as they were known, is probably the biggest multi-generational gathering of gangsters and criminals in the land. They had a finger in almost every business which had to pay them a regular sum of money since the inception of the Aces' and the business' new alliance. In return, not the protection that the lowlife scum promised where a rival gang would happily lay waste to the business and the protection would be none the wiser; instead, the Aces provided protection like 'soldiers' to guard their investments and their interests. Because, you see, loyalty means everything to them. With the police cracking down on crime lately, they are stepping up their game. They need all the help they can get for one great heist that would earn them their crown.

Mom had finally left our father after years of mental abuse and we learnt we had an aunt who was young enough to be our sister, but what we didn't know was that we had two uncles to the same age as Charlene our angel. They were devils in disguise wanting revenge for an accident that killed their mother and hers, though she had nothing to do with it. We took her under our protection but it wasn't enough they found her and made sure that she would pay for her sins even if their weren't any. Chester, and Henley were the brothers of my father, our sperm donor and the bane of our existence. Mom had finally got away from that despicable man and into the arms of another. Trying so hard to do the right thing by all of us we vowed to keep Charlene safe and with us, but that didn't stop them it never stopped them. Who will fall first and who will fail in the claws of love and hate?
The Happiness Monster
He was born in a utopian society where everybody works together to ensure fair distribution of happiness for all the people. However, he is... different. His callousness, lack of empathy and troubling disregard for happiness of others makes him an outcast in his world. She was born in a merchant's family and took off before her wedding to become a tech-hunter instead. A hundred scars later, she has realized that it was a mistake; and one that she cannot fix, not easily. * When I was a child, I was convinced that there is a limited amount of happiness in the world; that every time when I was unhappy somebody else was a little bit happier, and every time when I was happy somebody got a bit more miserable. Flash forward to utilitarianism, to "Moral Tribes" by John Greene: "..for a utilitarian, the ideal world is one in which everyone is maximally happy, including the baddies. In fact, the ideal utilitarian punishment system is one in which punishments are convincingly faked rather than actually delivered. In an ideal utilitarian world, convicts would be sent to a happy place where they can't bother anyone, while the rest us believe that they're suffering, the better to keep us on our best behavior." The idea was so outlandish and so perfectly SF-ish, in a "what could possibly go wrong?" way, that I thought of a prison planet Miasma almost immediately. And then added things, like bacterial enhancements that can change people's physiology just about in any way imaginable (and are not *that* far fetched). And then threw in intelligent alien life. That is kind of cute. And some weird sexual customs. And.... And then I ended up with a couple of notebooks full of NaNo-scribble, a realization that the story is sprawling in all directions, that it is this weird glob of "something" that is equal parts fun and unpredictable, and that I have always wanted to do serialized fiction.Complete

Book 1 of the Legends Never Die series. Legend. A program designed by five previous agencies, who had banded together to create an all powerful team of agents. This was a group of the worlds strongest, smartest, and loyal people. They were sought out by Legend's commanders, split into teams of five, and trained into powerful beings. Y/N L/N was a seven year old boy who was taken to Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria for his seventh birthday with his single mother as she had forgotten about his birthday. Upon entry, he was star struck by the animatronics. Y/N found them all so cool, but he did quickly gain a favourite, which was Freddy. On the way home, Y/N's mother even promised him that she would take him again soon. But, almost a year later, to be precise, a week away from Y/N's eighth birthday, he had learnt that the promise made by her was a lie after asking when they would visit again many times. This time, Y/N mustered up the courage to ask his mum a different question. From that day onwards, the relationship between Y/N and his mother spiralled down and wasn't the same ever again. After finishing high school, Y/N went to university and studied to become a robotics technician so he could work at places like Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. He was so good at what he was studying, that he only had to study for two years before being allowed to graduate. So when Y/N turned twenty, he applied for the role of the animatronic mechanic at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza-Plex, which was a massive mall version of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. It had all of the originals(in my AU, Bonnie and Foxy still exist) and some new ones. Y/N was ecstatic when he heard that they were accepted and now employed to be the mechanic, but he had to keep this job a secret. He could not risk his mother finding out. Y/N was pretty good at not mentioning starting the job. That was until one day when his mum decided to randomly come visit and found out everything, causing a big argument. Y/N didn't care and started working there anyways. He became the happiest they ever had been. Y/N made new friends. Both human and robotic. Everything was normal, until one day, when a realisation made everything change for Y/N.Complete

It started with hustling pool. He needed some sort of income. Living off the streets at twelve years old isn't easy in any respect, but it helps to have money. Then came the pickpocketing. It's amazing how much cash someone carries in their wallet at a time. Just a brief bump and he can easily slip a hand in a pocket. He'd have to use the credit cards quickly. He could match a signature well enough that a machine wouldn't care. It would only be a matter of time until the card was canceled, but he'd have it long enough to buy a new pair of shoes or a jacket in the winter. And the cash, he'd save that for a rainy day. Then came the shoplifting. He finds its easier to steal directly from the source. Hiding a twenty dollar shirt in a hoodie pocket was easier than finding the twenty dollars themselves, and showing up at the grocery store right when it opens and shoving an apple down his throat when no one was looking isn't as complicated as it sounds. It was never supposed to get violent. He was just trying to keep himself alive. He didn't expect them to be home. But then he made a game of it, and he never truly realized how high the stakes were - not until there were weapons involved. He did what he had to do. He snatched the knife, and what happened to the man, he'll never know. It was a nasty wound, though. If he did somehow survive it, he'll almost certainly never walk again. That day changed everything. It opened up a world of possibilities. He's been breaking the law for months, but it never occurred to him that he could just outright ignore it.
