While the team is split when Lloyd is possessed, losing their powers in the process, a new ninja goes under training to unlock her elemental powers. Friends around her give her encouragement and hope as she gets closer and closer to unlocking her true potential. But what of the ninja? Will they be able to stop Morro from achieving his goal? Lloyd Garmadon has never really been accepted in school. Having your own father run a crime syndicate in your home city doesn't help that, either. Lloyd's lost hope in making new friends. He's perfectly fine with those he has. Yet, when he stumbles across a classmate's lost phone--the very same student who had gone missing the day before--Lloyd's life gets a whole lot more interesting. ~ Aurora is a senior at NCHS. She lives in a Foster Agency with her best friends, where they're known as "boomerangs." Their chosen foster parents are never good fits for them; the teens return home a mere few days after leaving the agency. As a result, Aurora has given up on adoption. Now, she's just ready to graduate and move out along with her friends. However, that all comes to a halt when she suddenly goes missing. Scared for her well-being, her friends do all that they can to find her, yet it seems that they'll be needing more help from some familiar faces... ~~~ !! WARNING !! This is the first book I EVER wrote, so read at your own risk... Updates every Wednesday and Sunday if I remember! ---------- Seventeen years ago, Garmadon and his wife, Misako, had two children-one boy and one girl-who were twins. One year later, a group of assassins, sent to kill Garmadon and his family, ambushed them in the night. Garmadon and Misako escaped, but their two children didn't. The couple were determined to avenge their fallen children and defeat the ones responsible for their deaths, or so they thought. In the present day, the ninja, Kai, Cole, Jay, Nya, and Zane, with their masters, Wu and Garmadon, discover a large organization of the same assassins that attacked Misako and Garmadon being lead by a powerful and dangerous foe on an unknown island they never knew about-the Dark Island. This foe was unlike others, he was the eternal enemy of the First Spinjitzu Master. Together, the ninja team work their way over to the island to try and fight them, not knowing that a small group, who aren't so different from the ninja, are already working on it.
