Wei WuXian raised his hand in front of him, floating the object that immediately captured the complete attention of all the cultivators below him. He laughed. Not the sunshine laugh that his Shijie deaddeaddead would tease him for. Not the laugh he would give maidens and vendors as he flirted to get an offer on their goods. This laugh was maniacal. More akin to everyone's perception of the villainous Yilling Laozu. His eyes were red, tears flowing, and yet there was a brilliant smile on his face for there would sooner be no Wei WuXian than there would be no smile.

Wei WuXian looked to the source of the voice. The only one who would speak his birth name so fervently, so venerably. Lan Zhan.

Every time LWJ is near WWX, he has visions of the events that occurred later in the novel such as the Cloud Recesses burning, WWX giving his golden core to JC, WWX being thrown into burial mounds and WWX becoming the YP. He approaches WWX this time and hopes that he can protect him but is rejected constantly. So he summons most of the cultivation world to tell them about the visions he had seen." In another place as boy who was surrounded by darkness was crouching in a corner. He could here his sister's cries and please to that women to not hurt him again. He wanted to stop his sister well knowing 'she' will hurt his sister too. He knew he can never escape. He just want his sister to escape. He just want to know whether his A-yang and A-zhan is doing well. One day wangji got a dragon fly message like the butterfly message but in this the voice can be heard. He started talking with the messenger Xian and xian helped him out of his trauma. Wangji felt a deep connection with xian. Who is this xian and why is he not reveling his whereabouts.?
