Ciel Phantomhive, alongside his loyal butler Sebastian Michaelis, are sent to Paris for an investigation. A string of murders has been happening, suspected to be by a gang that is causing an uproar in the city. When interviewing the latest victim's daughter, Adele DeRose, the two are very suspicious of her. Sebastian knows she is hiding something, whether Adele is aware of it or not. While Adele knows Sebastian is hiding something from her, and soon realizes the truth of her mother's past, and her involvement with Sebastian. Sebastian's past before ever meeting Ciel will come to haunt him, and he will have to decide whether to ignore it or face the demon he has unknowingly created.
